Client: Everlast Group
Professional Team: FORMM
Programme: 5 week design and engagement, 10 week construction period
Scope: Design and Build interior fit- out
Everlast Group are a multi-disciplinary enveloping contractor.
To support their growth strategy a decision was made to consolidate their 5 existing offices into a single HQ location in Leeds, aligned to creating:
• Spaces to impress clients and staff.
• Support attraction and retention of staff in the workplace.
• Encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Aligning the workplace to key business objectives
After a competitive tender process FORMM were selected as the partner to work closely with the key stakeholders at Everlast from the initial stages including workspace design and engagement through to a full Cat B fit out, including a comprehensive furniture provision with bespoke joinery and rooms within rooms. Feedback around FORMM’s selection included the quality and approach of our team, flexibility, and the emphasis we put on design.
Against a 5 week design and engagement programme, with the wider team, (as staff inclusiveness and interaction in this process was of high importance to Everlast) supported by a 10 week construction programme, including furniture installation.
Cat B tenant fit out – Crittall glazed and plasterboard partitioning, M&E, floor coverings, bespoke joinery, signage, ceiling alterations, lighting enhancements, biophilia, kitchens and tea-point. Furniture provision – bench workstations, sit/stand workstations, high performance task seating, rooms-within-rooms, storage-wall, general storage, boardroom furniture, loose/collaborative work setting, reception desk, soft seating, café furniture, etc.
All works were implemented and co-ordinated by our in-house project management team and supported by our core supply chain. A high focus in the design was placed on creating multiple alternative workspaces to support both collaboration and concentration tasks, along with an auditorium (to support learning and client presentations) and a ‘bar’ (to facilitate entertaining and events).
